Gritroll Belts GRITROLL, TRULY ENDLESS RUBBER BELTS FOR SHOT AND SANDBLASTING MACHINERY BeltTS srl has developed GRITROLL belts together with the technicians of the main machinery manufacturers in the sector, whom are among our long-term Customers. The standard configuration of GRITROLL belt basically includes: Top cover , s d n u o p m o c r e b b u r k c a l b a f o e d a m based on NR rubber, specifically designed for this application, such to be at the same time highly wear- resistance and still elastic enough to “bounce” the grit or sand and consequently avoiding to be damaged by the same too early. Tension member usually made of 3 to 4 synthetic plies, for a total breaking strength suitable for any belt . s t n e m e r i u q e r r e m o t s u c e h t o t g n i d r o c c a d n a e z i s Different executions are available on request. Inner surface made of a special black rubber Compound to grant a perfect grip with the pulleys. According to the available tools, transversal rubber cleats and V-guide, when required, can be produced molded-in (i.e. in a same production stage of the belt, out of raw material) or applied afterwards on the belt itself, by means of a special vulcanizing procedure. (Tab. 1 & 2). Holes: thanks to our capability we could drill the GRITROLL belts with as many configuration as especially required. Customizing the specific need we could drill holes varying from 3 mm to 20 mm. Our holes are drilled and not punched so that it grant cylindrical shape and not hourglass effect. GRITROLL belts are used on Shot and Sand-blasting machines, usually for finishing small parts loaded in bulk and, in its cradle-configuration, it gets the parts to be worked and keep them in continuous tumble. Due to their design, GRITROLL belts perform some advantages based on the OEMs’ requirements: • Truly endless belt construction thanks to the seamless execution, that enables stability and a straight directional operation; • Higher resistance to abrasion and wear thanks to a rubber compound formulated on purpose for this specific application only; • Higher operating flexibility rate enabling the adoption of smaller pulleys and work at higher speed; • Smaller chance of cleats and V-guide detachment, thanks to their production system.
